An ode to diversity
For its 26th edition, the fair is putting the spotlight on modern and contemporary art, welcoming emerging galleries and established institutions. For the first edition of the Iranian gallery Etemad at Art Paris, Etemad Gallery has chosen three artists: Mojé Assefjah and her paintings full of movement, Habib Farajabadi who works in charcoal and Negar Ghiamat whose very colourful canvases may appeal to the French public. All three are already well established in figurative abstraction. Until now, Etemad Gallery has tended to participate in Asia Now in Paris, but Roxane Etemad wanted to invest in “a platform that was more open to the world”.
