Negar Ghiamat

She is an emerging visual artist based in Tehran, Iran. She has received an MFA in Visual Communication Design from Art and Architecture Azad University.
Ghiamat uses the material in different ways for different visual expressions. She has always challenged herself, and works in a wide variety of abstract and representational canvases in order to overcome the routine of painting and finding new strategies of creation.
In her recent solo exhibition (Ghent, Belgium), she has presented a vivid, colorful mostly abstract body of work assembled under the title: “If I were a sun, …”. Two paintings have been shown at a Museum show, in museum Mudel, Deinze, Belgium.  Her works have been shown in many group exhibitions internationally such as Brussels, Antwerp, Deinze, Ghent, Berlin, Silkeborg, and Bergen.
