Foad Sharifi is a graphic design graduate who began his artistic practice in 2009 with environmental art projects centered on the concept of decentralization. Among these projects are On the Gray Skin of the City, Art at Home, and Stone by Stone.
In 2011, he founded the Haya silk-screen printing workshop with the aim of reproducing and making accessible works by artists from different generations of Iranian visual art. Over the years, Sharifi has collaborated with numerous prominent artists, including Fereydoun Ave, Nicky Nodjoumi, Mohammad Ehsai, Kourosh Shishegaran, Bijan Saffari, Mehdi Hosseini, Nosratollah Moslemian, Gholam-Hossein Ghabashiwa, Abbas Kiarostami, Farshid Mesghali, Sadegh Barirani, Sirak Melkonian, Monir Farmanfarmaian, Parviz Tanavoli, and Y.Z. Kami. He has held more than 30 solo exhibitions in Iran and three international exhibitions.
Born in April 1986 in Sanandaj, Iran, is a graduate of Graphic Design from Shahid Rajaee University.
